Uploading photos

Note: For User-Interface term definitions such as the Organizer, Main Area and the Toolbox, refer to the screen shot in the right-hand column of the Help guide

After you have created a gallery you can begin uploading photos.

1. Click to select the gallery in the Organizer
2. In the Main Area click Add Photos or Upload Photos under the gallery title in the Top Menu
3. You will be given a choice of which upload tool to use. The most common tool to use for uploading photos is the Zenfolio Uploader.
4. Follow the instructions given on how to install your chosen upload tool

The Zenfolio Uploader is the recommended choice as it provides the most efficient and integrated way of uploading many files in one operation.

The HTML Uploader is designed for selecting files one at a time and is best used from a public computer or when you only have a few files to upload.

If you have chosen the Zenfolio Uploader:

1. In the Uploader, click Add Photos
2. A file manager window will appear; use it to navigate and select desired files. You can select more than one file at a time by holding down the Shift key during file selection
3. When you are finished selecting files, click Open to place them in the Uploader
4. Click Start Upload to begin uploading

If you have chosen the HTML Uploader:

1. Click Browse to select which photo you would like to upload
2. Navigate to the file you would like to upload
3. Select the file and click Open
4. You will now have the option to select more files, one at a time
5. If you change your mind, click Remove below corresponding thumbnail to remove the file
6. Optional: type in title, caption, and keywords for each photo
7. Repeat steps 1-5 for each additional file
8. When you are finished selecting files, click Start Upload to begin uploading
