Adding photos to collection

There are two ways of adding a photo to collection.

You can add your own photos to collections in the Edit View. You can add your own photos as well as photos from other Zenfolio users to collections in the Visitor View while looking at photo pages.

Adding your photos to collections in the Edit View

1. In the Organizer, click to select or double-click in the Main Area the gallery containing photos you would like to add to a collection. Thumbnails from the gallery will load in the Main Area and the title of the gallery will display at the top.
2. In the Main Area, click to select a thumbnail of the photograph you would like to add to collection. The thumbnail will become highlighted and photo-related information will be loaded in the Toolbox.
3. Select Add to Collection from the Section Menu in the Main Area. A popup window will open with a tree list of all your collections. Navigate the tree and select destination collection, or you can create a new collection. Click Add to confirm or Cancel if you change your mind.

Note: The above steps can be applied to multiple selected items as one operation.

Adding photos from other users to a collection in the Visitor View

1. Navigate visitor pages until you are looking at a photo page with the photograph you would like to add to collection.
2. Make sure to login to the Zenfolio Web site in order to access your collections.
3. Select Add to Collection from the menu. A list of all your collections will open to the right. If you do not see your collections, make sure to login to the Zenfolio site.
4. Select the destination collection or Add to a new collection to create a new one. A confirmation message will appear letting you know that you have added the photo to a Quick Collection.
5. You can now move on to the next photograph to add or view the collection.

When you are finished adding photos you can return to your Edit View to rename and organize the Quick Collection(s) you have created.
