Assigning cover photo
A Cover photo is like a book cover, it visually represents a group providing clues as to what can be found inside. It is best to select the most representative and memorable photograph inside to be the Cover photo.
Available Group Cover Photo Options:
- A folder graphic, matching the selected Theme of your page (this is the default setting)
- A thumbnail of a photo placed on top of a folder graphic helping identify it as a group
- A thumbnail cover photo only
Assigning specific Cover Photo
- In the Main Area, move your mouse over the photo you would like to assign as a Cover Photo. Click on the blue icon with the down-pointing arrow that appears as your mouse moves over the thumbnail. A drop-down Photo Menu will appear.
- Choose Select as Cover Photo from the menu. A new window will open and prompt you to assign the selected photo to an available group. Select the group you would like and confirm your selection by clicking Assign. A thumbnail of the selected photo will appear under Toolbox ยป Cover Photo and Theme confirming the selection.
Disabling the Folder Graphic
- From either Edit View or Visitor View, choose Customize Visitor View
- Click Options and a new window will open
- Under Thumbnail Display Options choose the Display Groups using: Group Cover Photo
- Click Apply to save your changes
