Using original file names for photo titles
You can choose to have original file names to be used for photo Titles:
- In the Organizer, click to select the gallery containing the photograph you would like to edit or double-click the gallery in the Main Area. Thumbnails from the gallery will load in the Main Area and the title of the gallery will display at the top.
- In the Main Area, click to select a thumbnail of the photograph you would like to edit. The thumbnail will become highlighted and photo-related information will be loaded in the Toolbox.
- Click Edit in the Description section of the Toolbox. A new popup window will open.
- Below the Title field, check the option to Copy from file name. A new title will be filled-in from the original file name. Click Save to apply and close the popup window. The new title will be updated in the Main Area and the Description section of the Toolbox.
Note: The above steps can be applied to multiple selected items as one operation.
Using original file names as a default setting:
- In Edit View click on PREFERENCES
- Choose Upload Settings from the menu on the left side of the page
- Check the box to Automatically copy file names to photo Titles
- Click Save to apply. All future photos you upload will have original file names unless you decide to manually edit them.
