Why does it take a long time to upload files?

The length of time it takes to upload your photos depends primarily on the upload speed of your Internet connection and the size of the files.

While most DSL and cable broadband service providers advertise fast download speeds, their upload speeds are usually limited to 128-256kbps, which results in longer upload times.

You can test the actual upload speed of your Internet connection using the Zenfolio Bandwidth Speed Test.
