Displaying file names after uploading

After uploading your photos to Zenfolio you can input Titles to display on your Visitor pages. You can also choose to display the original file names as photo Titles.

To display original file names:

1. In the Organizer, click to select the gallery containing the photographs, you would like to edit or double-click it in the Main Area. Thumbnails will load in the Main Area and the title will display at the top.
2. In the Main Area, click to select a thumbnail of the item you would like to edit. The thumbnail will become highlighted and related information will be loaded in the Toolbox.
3. Click Edit in the Description section of the Toolbox. A new popup window will open.
4. Click Copy from file name
5. When finished click Save to apply your changes and close the popup window. The file name will be updated as the new title in the Main Area and the Description section of the Toolbox.

Use original file names as photo Titles as a default:

1. In Edit View click on PREFERENCES
2. Choose Upload Settings from the menu on the left side of the page
3. Check the box to Automatically copy file names to photo Titles
4. Click Save to apply

All future photos you upload will have original file names and you can manually edit them later

The above steps can be applied to multiple selected items as one operation.
