Senior Manager, IT Operations (Menlo Park, CA)

We are looking for a talented and motivated individual to become the core of our infrastructure team. If you are passionate about your work, enjoy troubleshooting problems, and love learning new technologies – we would like to hear from you. You will take on key responsibilities for maintaining our current infrastructure as well as for planning and implementing new solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure availability and performance of Zenfolio systems and network infrastructure; continuously improve management and monitoring tools
  • Develop, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure policies and procedures
  • Design and implement strategic plans to ensure infrastructure capacity meets existing and future requirements
  • Work closely with members of the development team to troubleshoot application issues
  • Assist in configuration, installation, and maintenance of servers and network devices
  • Participate in day-to-day infrastructure support duties
  • Occasionally travel to out-of-state data centers

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of hands-on IT operations experience
  • Solid experience with TCP/IP-based networking, network security and load balancing
  • Familiarity with core Internet protocols such as DNS, HTTP, SMTP, etc.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Meticulous Über-meticulous attention to detail

Nice to have:

  • Programming experience in any language

Marketing Analyst (Menlo Park, CA)

We are looking for a talented marketing data analyst with a passion for numbers, data discovery, and quantitative analysis. If CPA, ROI, CPC, ROAS, CTR, and RPM metrics and data-driven marketing jargon make you feel comfortable – this is the perfect role for you.

This role will work directly with the Marketing and Development Teams to analyze large data sets and complex site flows to provide multiple, data-supported actions that can direct our marketing efforts and support our growing business.

You will be:

  • Analyzing customer acquisition funnel and making data driven recommendations
  • Studying customer behavior to provide insights including cohort analysis and implementation of predictive modeling
  • Capturing buying behavior and making strategic recommendations to improve customer engagement and conversion at every step of the customer lifecycle
  • Generating and presenting findings to a broad internal audience at all levels of the organization
  • Identifying critical business problems and translating them into well-designed multivariate tests, managing deployment, and reporting on the results
  • Using your findings to partner with other Marketing Team member to recommending and develop creative and innovative solutions for customer acquisitions
  • Develop dashboards based on project initiatives and business KPI’s

You will need:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in a quantitative discipline such as statistics, economics, or business
  • 2-3 years of experience in marketing analytics preferably dealing with complex analytical projects and large data sets
  • Proven experience in advanced web analytics methodologies such as experimentation, MVT, surveys, and customer experience tools
  • Extensive exposure to Google AdWords, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
  • Advanced Excel experience - Pivot Tables, Vlookup, text string manipulation, etc.
  • Impressive ability to translate quantitative and qualitative results into implications for the business
  • Aptitude for displaying and communicating data analysis
  • Previous experience collaborating with both marketing and development teams

Nice to have:

  • Ability to pull data directly from large databases and writing queries in SQL
  • Experience in statistical modeling techniques

Customer Support Representative (Raleigh, North Carolina)

The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in photography either as a professional or a serious enthusiast, possess passion for helping people, have an abundance of online knowledge, have good technical and analytical skills, and want to work in a dynamic and creative small-company environment.

Part of the Art.com family, Zenfolio is headquartered in Menlo Park, CA (in the heart of the Silicon Valley), but this position is for our Raleigh, NC office.

Responsibilities:

  • Become the first level of interaction for user e-mail inquiries and live chat. Inquiries include requests for technical assistance as well as general pre-sales and how-to questions.
  • Ensure timely responses to all inquiries (we try to respond to all e-mails within 10-60 minutes)
  • Effectively articulate complex information to a variety of technical and non-technical users, i.e., helping people who have basic computer skills and need a lot of hand-holding
  • Provide daily interaction with the photography community on user forums and social-networking sites
  • Identify areas of usability concerns and escalate them for technical resolution
  • Provide assistance with testing and Q/A
  • Covering support during some weekend hours is very likely

Must Have:

  • Good writing skills

  • The ability to quickly learn new concepts
  • Able to type a minimum of 50 wpm

Would be Awesome:

This position requires native-level French or German written fluency for customer communication and proficiency in English for company communication.
